Thanks man. Yea the Bug in this video should be running mid 11s but my friend’s dad is always sleeping or working. The motor was slapped together and hauled to the drags. It’s untuned, he’s launching on foot (w/o 2 step MSD which they actually have sitting in the garage), shifting at only 6500 rpm, not power shifting, etc. It has alot more in it if they would do the work. My Mustang also now has Shorty headers, full exhaust, MSD and more but I gotta fix the oil leak before I go back to the track

I had my ass handed to me by a karman ghia back in high school. I still see him pulling away and that was 24 years ago.

Nice video man…shows the ET’s and has a detailed comment. That’s a quick Bug. The VW guys always surprise me at Speedworld. I saw these guys push their white piece of crap Bug to the start line, wrench on it and it still ran an 11.6 ET.
